@@brocksampson3405 Exactly. If Axl is supposed to be a high school senior; how on earth is he not mastering a school subject as simple as English...? That's another question to ask yourself Axl.

@@joshapple6905 I think the system is justice broken. Or he constantly has someone helping him get through school and when you think he's going to get caught and punished doing something, one of his so called friends or someone he bribed ends up helping him or bailing him out. If you take all of that away. Axl would be in first grade forever and he'd be considered what he is now, an idiot and an evil and stubborn one at that. I'm not trying to hate on the character but you have to admit, for someone his age in the grade he's in, Axl is an idiot, and a stubbornly evil one at that.

I think you should really, really buy them."_ The intonation and word choice in that jab from that character is exactly how many gay men would deliver such a sarcastic jab, as is the case for so many of the examples of dialogue from the character of Axl Heck in this video. This is not to say the actor or character is gay, but I'd bet money that whoever wrote the lines the actor is repeating is, in fact, gay. And just to be clear, I say all this from the POV of a gay man.

@@Kehvan 😂.. if you seen this show and know Axel, then you know he was being his usual pompous azz self .. his choice of words and tone was purposely condescending to mock Sue and show his dad that he is "trying" to support her.. It was very well done imo 😂.. So in other words, Axel was being a douche! 😆

@thewizardofoz511 Thanks for missing the point. A straight teenaged boy trying to be sarcastic and pompous simply wouldn't choose that tone. He might use those words, but not in that tonal quality. A straight boy wouldn't pitch his voice higher but lower, ending in a faux growl as he casts his insult. In fact, the little insults he throws about the hair curlers were more closely matched to a straight teenaged boy, but even then, there were some aspects of that portion that came off totally gay. I stick by my opinion, the people behind the camera writing for, and directing this character are gay.

"Dork" "Dork" "i would never stop punching you" Axl,, buddy,, is that a way to talk to your sister? Shame on you. I can't stop laughing though. He was probably my Favorite character in the show, besides Brick.

Can't you hear Axl complaining when he gets his cookie: "Oh my God, Mom! Oatmeal raisin? That is so 1980's. Like, does my girlfriend wear huge shoulder pads, are we still talking about President Reagan, and like, when was the last time you heard a Rick Astley song on the radio? Totally lame. Snickerdoodle is the current cookie craze. Get with the times, Mom!
